Good Products Make Me Happy

I probably shouldn’t post this now because I’m still wallowing in a hormonal cesspool and might not be as effusive as I should be but I have a new product that I totally lurve

Wild Nature Australia Daily Antioxidant Serum

I started using Wild Nature Australia’s Pure Essential Daily Antioxidant Serum when we visited our fab friends in Australia last year and my friend Robin stoked me with a bottle of this elixir vitae.  And while putting oil directly on my face seemed like an awesome way to invite the pimple fairies to come wreak havoc with my skin (which is now an unhappy host to both super deep wrinkles and pimples! Aging is fun!) it turned out to be one of the best new products I’ve ever tried.

I used it religiously while I was healing up from the recent TCA peel (did I mention that I recently paid my aesthetician to napalm my face with a medium peel?) and it worked wonders … I’ll even post an after picture (sometime soon) to prove it.  And, btw, no pimples!  It’s a miracle I don’t understand and don’t need to (until it stops working and then I’ll be very interested, indeed).

It’s also nirvana in super dry climates like Palm Springs and deepest, snowiest Utah, making me look dewy instead of parched … and for me to say anything nice about my skin right now means I’m serious.

The only drawback to this product is the “Australian” part because it really is only in Australia and you have to buy it and suffer the shipping or ask your friend who lives there to send it to you which she doesn’t because she has three kids and a house and a husband and a serious yoga practice and a life and a boat in which they zoom around under the Sydney bridge and forget that my skin is crying out for help.  You’d think she’d be more worried, wouldn’t you?

I’m sort of a serum junkie and have, by actual count, four different kinds in my cabinet right now.  But this one a) seriously moisturizes, b) smells good, c) has no pimply side effects and d) for me, reminds me of a most fabulous vacation.

In fact, you really should consider going to Australia and picking some up in person.  It really is the most amazing place, filled with friendly, awesome folks, not the least of whom are our friends that we miss with all our hearts …

Good times at a dance show in Sydney!
